People nowadays travel to USA, UK and Canada for dental implants, hoping for better treatment, without realizing that we have world’s best dental implants in Pakistan here, offering state-of-the-at services at far less cost than those abroad.

If you are still willing to travel abroad for dental implants, here is a list of few considerations that you must take into account before scheduling your trip:

  • Are you prone to asthma attack? If the answer is yes then perhaps dental travel is not your game. The physical stress and the psychological fatigue that dental travel brings along might trigger an asthma attack, which may then aggravate and hamper your process success of dental implants.
  • Are you a heart patient? Again, if the answer is yes, that please be informed that patients with heart disease are not advised to travel abroad for dental implants, since this might trigger infections which may then require antibiotic treatment. And while antibiotics may act successful in fighting and protecting against bacteria, it might have a bad effect on the heart.
  • Are you diabetic? If yes than dental travel is definitely not for you. Physical and mental stress involved during travel is likely to increase your blood sugar levels, which is not a healthy condition for getting dental implants. The dentist will never proceed with the procedure until the blood sugar level is under control, since otherwise there is high risk of infection.

Better yet, it is still advisable to seek the dentists in Pakistan and abandon the idea of travelling abroad to get dental implants. And do not assume that the dentists abroad are better than those at home.
